.NET Architect

Job Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the lead resource responsible for the overall design and development of applications and systems.
  • Define requirements and create architectural specifications.
  • Provide leadership to client and internal stakeholders.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in all phases of design and development; mentor team members as needed.
  • Help ensure projects are delivered successfully, on-time, and within budget.



Skills and Experience Required:


Required Skills:


  • 10+ years .net Framework experience with 1+ years’ experience developing in the .Net 4.0 Framework
  • 6+ years’ experience with ASP.NET
  • 6+ years’ experience with SQL
  • 2+ years Entity Framework experience
  • 2+ years’ experience with HTML
  • 2+ years’ experience working with in an Agile environment

Technical Expertise:

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
  • Deep knowledge of the .NET 4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008, VB.NET, ASP.NET, WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and software implementation best practices.
  • Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer) along with experience in service-oriented architectures (SOA).
  • Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures.
  • Experience with JQuery or similar technologies.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
  • Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices while leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  • Ability to lead the team through SDLC project life cycle
